How to enter
- Open the Lowe’s app and sign in to your personal MyLowe’s Rewards account. Membership is free; follow the account-registration prompts if you need to enroll.
- Find the Member Events dashboard and select Home for the Holidays. Read the promotion details before proceeding.
- Complete the required entry information and submit your initial entry through the app. Visiting this article or opening the rules PDF does not enter you.
- Review any available bonus-entry prompts after submitting. Keep the initial-entry limit separate from the bonus-entry allowances.
There is one initial entry per person for the entire promotion. The entry window began October 30, 2026, at 6 a.m. Eastern. Submit before the December 15 deadline rather than assuming the promotion continues through Christmas.
Who can enter the holiday sweepstakes?
Eligible entrants must live legally in one of the 50 United States or Washington, D.C., be at least 18 and their state’s age of majority, and belong to MyLowe’s Rewards. Certain employees, immediate family members and household members are excluded. Read the complete exclusions before entering.
What does the construction prize cover?
One winner chooses between two alternatives: a $500,000 credit for eligible new-home building costs or a $300,000 check. These are alternative prizes, so the winner does not receive both. The selection becomes final when the prize is accepted.
The building option requires a Lowe’s-approved builder. It cannot pay for buying land. If an approved builder is unavailable in the desired location, the rules provide the cash alternative instead. The winner must contract with the builder by February 28, 2027.
Any costs above the credit remain the winner’s responsibility, and unused credit is forfeited. Consider the difference between a construction allowance and a move-in-ready property: promotional house illustrations do not identify a finished home being awarded.
Bonus entries and winner selection
Bonus opportunities become available after the initial app entry. A qualifying purchase of $50 or more on one receipt, before taxes and after discounts, can earn a bonus entry. Purchase exclusions apply. There is also a mail-in alternative; purchasing is not necessary.
Purchase and mail-in bonus methods share a limit of one bonus entry per day. Mail-in requests must be postmarked by December 15 and arrive by December 22, 2026. Follow Section 3 of the linked rules for the required information, envelope instructions and mailing destination. Postage is needed for this method.
The app also offers one share-with-a-friend bonus entry for the entire promotion. Follow its email or text-sharing prompt. This is separate from the daily purchase-or-mail allowance.
Drawing, notification and prize responsibilities
The random drawing is scheduled for approximately January 4, 2027. Selection remains subject to eligibility verification. The potential winner is contacted by email and must meet the response and paperwork deadlines in the rules.
Applicable taxes are the winner’s responsibility for either prize. Required acceptance documents include eligibility and tax paperwork. Check the official notification process and prize conditions before accepting an award.
Before entering
This is a chance-to-win promotion, not a guaranteed free home. Enter manually using your own valid account information; scripts and automated entries are prohibited.
