JOY FM T-Shirts for Turkeys offers a newly designed station T-shirt in exchange for a qualifying donation at a participating Turkey Stop. The 2026 calendar lists events November 9–12 in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and Tennessee. Bring a frozen turkey, a $15 “paper turkey” contribution, or a $15 gift card from a local grocery store.

How does JOY FM T-Shirts for Turkeys work?
The campaign collects donations to help local food banks, ministries and homeless shelters provide meals for families in need. Frozen turkeys go to participating organizations’ freezers and are used for food boxes and holiday meals. The T-shirt is the donor thank-you described by the station.
A donation is required for this exchange. The provider accepts a frozen turkey or either of its two $15 alternatives. If you choose a gift card, the page specifies a local grocery store. The offer takes place at scheduled collection events rather than through an online request for a mailed shirt.
Find a participating Turkey Stop
Open the campaign page and scroll below the introductory information and search-instructions video to the “Find Your Event” calendar. Its heading identifies the 2026 campaign. The calendar loads farther down the page, so the first screen of introductory information is not the complete schedule.
- Enter your city in the “Search For Your City” field.
- Use “Filters” to narrow the calendar by date, state or time of day. Available time-of-day choices include morning, mid-day and evening.
- Review the matching event’s date, host location and start and end times.
- Take your qualifying donation to that specific Turkey Stop during its listed collection period.
Examples from the 2026 calendar
The schedule includes the following examples across its five listed states. These illustrate the regional coverage; use the provider’s searchable calendar to choose the exact stop for your visit.
- Florida: Sarasota has a morning stop on Monday, November 9.
- Georgia: Grovetown has a morning stop on Monday, November 9, and Macon has an evening stop on Thursday, November 12.
- Alabama: Enterprise has a morning stop on Monday, November 9.
- South Carolina: North Augusta has a morning stop on Tuesday, November 10.
- Tennessee: Chattanooga has an evening stop on Tuesday, November 10.
The state filter also includes a CSRA regional option. Some calendar entries display UTC-6 or a Central-time note, so read the time shown on the individual event rather than applying one time zone to every stop. Collection windows also differ: a morning event and an evening event in the same campaign do not have interchangeable hours.
What should you check before visiting?
Match the city and host location carefully. Some cities have multiple stops on different days or at different venues. For example, the calendar lists several Newnan, Georgia, events, so searching the city alone does not identify a single collection point.
The campaign page does not specify a required turkey weight, available shirt sizes or a shirt quantity limit. Confirm any of those details with the organizer if they affect your participation. The buttons lead to the same official campaign and schedule page, where you can review the listed stop before heading out.
