Planning an outdoor deck and want to see different finishes before choosing a product? TimberTech is offering up to four free decking samples with free shipping through its online sample-order page. These are physical deck-board material samples that can help you compare wood-look colors and textures at home—not free full-size decking boards or an installation service.

What Do You Get with the Free TimberTech Samples?
TimberTech’s sample page invites shoppers to select up to four decking samples and advertises free shipping. Its samples show the finishes of decking products, helping visitors evaluate a color in the place where a future deck could be built.
The company offers different appearances across its decking lines. Its online selection includes light tan and sandy looks, coastal-style grays, and richer brown wood tones. Product-specific samples may also be sorted or explored by collection, including Advanced PVC and composite decking options. The exact choices available when ordering determine which samples you can request.
How to Request the Free Decking Samples
- Open the TimberTech sample-order page using the button in this article.
- Browse the available samples by color or collection.
- Select the decking finishes you want to compare, keeping within the four-sample limit.
- Open the cart and follow TimberTech’s checkout instructions to submit your sample request.
TimberTech’s sample page indicates when the cart has reached the limit of four free samples. If your selection exceeds that limit, remove an item before adding another. Confirm any destination-specific terms and the final zero-cost order details at checkout.
Compare Colors and Finishes in Your Own Space
A small swatch lets you look at a decking finish beside exterior siding, railings, outdoor furniture or landscaping. TimberTech specifically promotes its mailed samples as a way to compare colors and textures under the real lighting of your outdoor space.
Pay attention to how light and dark samples appear at different times of day, particularly if you’re deciding between weathered grays, warm browns and lighter tan options. The sample’s visible grain pattern can also help narrow a choice before researching full-size boards or installation details.
Which TimberTech Collections Can You Explore?
TimberTech’s current sample page lists collections such as Vintage, Landmark, Legacy, Harvest, Reserve, Terrain and Prime, with additional options depending on the material and appearance selected. Some collections are identified as Advanced PVC and others as composite decking. Each collection has different looks and features, so the sample is a useful visual reference rather than a substitute for reading a product specification or installation guide.
Are the Samples and Shipping Really Free?
The official sample-order page explicitly advertises both free samples and free shipping, with a choice of up to four samples. It does not describe this as a rebate, sweepstakes or purchase-with-gift promotion. TimberTech’s FAQ also confirms that shoppers can order free samples delivered to their doors.
Shipping eligibility and the available selection may depend on the destination and order details, so review the cart before submitting. The offer is for small product samples; decking boards, labor and other materials for a building project are separate purchases.
What Happens After You Choose Your Samples?
Once you’ve selected up to four available finishes, proceed to TimberTech’s cart and follow the provider’s ordering process. The sample page does not provide a single delivery-time guarantee for every destination, so this listing does not promise a particular arrival date. Use the material samples to compare appearance and texture, then refer to TimberTech’s product information if you decide to explore a full decking purchase.
