1. What the Pei Wei Birthday Appetizer Includes
The current birthday reward covers one free small appetizer. Pei Wei lists eligible choices including two Crab Wontons, a small Traditional Edamame, one Vegetable Spring Roll, or one Pork Egg Roll.
The eligible menu list can change, so check the current reward details before ordering if you are counting on a specific appetizer.
2. How to Join Pei Wei Rewards
Create a Pei Wei Rewards account and add your birthday to the profile. Use the same account when ordering so your rewards and points stay connected.
Because birthday rewards are account-based, keeping your profile information accurate is important. Sign in before your birthday month and verify the saved date.
3. When the Reward Appears
Pei Wei says the birthday reward is automatically loaded to the account seven days before the member’s date of birth. You do not need to manually request the reward if the account is eligible.
Check the app or website around that time and save the expiration date once the offer appears.
4. How Long the Reward Lasts
The birthday reward is valid for 14 days from the date it is received. Since it arrives seven days before the birthday, the window generally spans the birthday itself.
A two-week window is relatively short, so do not wait until the end of the month unless your account shows that the reward remains valid.
5. How to Redeem Online
When ordering online while signed in, Pei Wei says earned rewards appear during the ordering process. Add an eligible birthday appetizer and apply the birthday reward before checkout.
Review the order total before submitting. Extra items, taxes, fees, and third-party delivery charges are not automatically covered by the birthday reward.
6. Using the Reward In Restaurant
At a participating location, identify your Rewards account by scanning the app or providing the account phone number when permitted. Ask the cashier to apply the available birthday reward.
If the reward is missing or an item is not qualifying, resolve that before paying rather than assuming an adjustment will happen automatically.
7. More Birthday Rewards to Plan Around
Short redemption windows are common with restaurant birthday offers. Our Best Birthday Freebies in 2026 guide can help you compare programs that arrive before the birthday, on the birthday, or at the beginning of the birthday month.
A calendar reminder can prevent useful rewards from expiring before you have a chance to use them.
8. Final Thoughts on the Pei Wei Reward
The Pei Wei birthday appetizer is a practical birthday freebie because the qualifying choices are clearly listed and the reward is automatically loaded for eligible members.
Because the reward arrives before the birthday, it can be useful for an early celebration or a meal during birthday week. The short 14-day validity period is the main thing to watch. If your plans change, check the exact expiration date rather than assuming the reward lasts through the entire month, and remember that third-party delivery platforms may follow different reward rules.
