Free Thanksgiving Printables: 4 Kids’ Table Activities

Free Thanksgiving printables can give the kids’ table something to do while dinner is being prepared. Hallmark offers four downloadable activities: a coloring placemat, an activity book, a turkey place card and a separate coloring page. These are digital files you print yourself, rather than supplies mailed to your home.

The offer: Four downloadable Thanksgiving activities for kids.
Cost: Free digital PDFs; printing paper, ink and craft supplies are your own.
Eligibility: Families looking for printable kids’ table activities.

What’s included in the free Thanksgiving printables?

You can choose one activity or download the full set. The files serve different purposes, so you do not have to print every project to use the offer.

  • Coloring placemat: A printable table activity to decorate with crayons. Hallmark recommends 11-by-17-inch paper for this placemat.
  • Activity book: Includes fill-in-the-blank questions, a word search and a gratitude drawing prompt. The provider says to print it and fold it in half.
  • Turkey place card: A coloring-and-assembly project for a table setting. The instructions call for card stock, scissors and tape.
  • Thanksgiving coloring page: Includes a place to name the turkey and write what you are thankful for. It is designed for 11-by-17-inch paper, with the option to reduce it to standard letter paper when printing.

How to download the activities

  1. Use the button above to open Hallmark’s Thanksgiving activities page.
  2. Find the free-download list and choose the placemat, activity book, turkey place card or coloring page.
  3. Open the PDF, then save it or use your PDF viewer’s print control. Check the paper size before printing.
  4. Set out the printed activities and appropriate supplies. Follow the provider’s folding and assembly instructions for the book and place card.

Paper sizes and supplies to check first

The downloads are free, but you supply the printer, paper, ink and crayons. Hallmark lists letter-size paper for the book and letter-size card stock for the place card. The larger placemat uses a different paper size, so preview each file separately instead of using the same settings for all four.

For the separate coloring page, the provider specifically allows reducing the 11-by-17-inch design to 8.5-by-11-inch paper. Use your printer’s preview to check the result before making several copies. This helps avoid wasting paper on an incorrectly scaled page.

Putting together the turkey place card

Hallmark recommends coloring the turkey before cutting and assembling it. Its directions then have you cut along solid lines, fold along dashed lines and make the indicated slit so the tail can be inserted. Keep the original instructions beside the project rather than guessing which lines to cut.

Our suggestion: let children do the coloring first and have an adult help with scissors and assembly when needed. Keep crayons and unfinished projects away from serving dishes so the craft space stays manageable.

A printable download, not a mailed freebie

All four PDF links opened during our November 3, 2026 check without an account or email signup. No expiration date is stated on the activity page. Access can change, so use the provider page to confirm the downloads are still available when you need them.
