1. What the Regal Birthday Popcorn and Drink Includes
Regal’s current rewards help page lists a free small popcorn and small drink as a birthday benefit for registered members. The program itself is free to join, and members can also earn points on qualifying ticket and concession purchases.
This birthday perk is separate from points you may earn through normal visits. The exact account display and redemption process can change, so check the offer loaded to your own Regal account.
2. How to Become Eligible
Create a Regal Rewards account online or through the Regal app, then complete the registration steps and provide the requested account information. Regal explains that confirming your email fully activates the registered membership benefits.
Make sure your birthday is saved accurately in your profile. Birthday rewards depend on the account information Regal has on file, so incorrect or missing details can prevent the reward from appearing.
3. Why You Should Sign Up Early
Even when a rewards program does not advertise a long advance deadline on the public benefit page, it is smart to register before your birthday instead of waiting until the same day. That gives you time to confirm your email and make sure your profile is complete.
If your birthday is coming up soon, open the Regal app or account page and verify the date now. Do not assume a reward can be added retroactively after the birthday has passed.
4. How to Check for the Birthday Reward
Sign in to Regal Rewards around your birthday and review your available offers or rewards. You can also check the Regal app, which is often the easiest place to keep your membership information and current offers together.
If the expected birthday benefit is not visible, use Regal’s current help resources before making a special trip. Account-specific issues are better resolved before you reach the concession stand.
5. Redeeming the Free Popcorn and Drink
Use your registered Regal Rewards membership when redeeming the birthday benefit at a participating theatre. The current public benefit is described as a small popcorn and small drink, so do not assume larger sizes or premium products are included.
Local availability, theatre participation, and product substitutions can vary. Review the offer in your account and ask a theatre employee if you have a question about eligible concession items.
6. Other Regal Rewards Benefits
Regal Rewards members can earn points on qualifying purchases and redeem points for items such as free admission tickets and concessions. Those ongoing rewards are separate from the birthday benefit described here.
The birthday freebie is useful even for occasional moviegoers because the base rewards membership is free. Still, only join programs you expect to use and keep your account information current.
7. Pair It With Other Birthday Freebies
If you like stacking birthday perks across several days, add this movie reward to your list alongside restaurant and retail offers. Our Best Birthday Freebies in 2026 guide covers more programs that may be worth joining in advance.
Write down when each offer becomes available and when it expires. That makes it easier to spread out your birthday freebies instead of trying to use everything on one day.
8. Final Thoughts on the Regal Birthday Reward
For eligible members, a free small popcorn and small drink can make a birthday movie outing a little cheaper. The key steps are joining Regal Rewards, completing registration, and keeping the birthday on your profile.
